Fan zones

The Australian Grand Prix delivers far more than just on-track action. Each year, the event features a vibrant entertainment programme designed to enhance the race weekend experience for fans of all ages.

Main Fan Zone

The main Fan Zone is located inside the circuit, behind the main straight and close to the Brabham Grandstand. It is one of the most dynamic areas of the venue throughout the weekend.

Visitors can enjoy:

  • Official team and event merchandise stores
  • A wide range of contemporary food and beverage options
  • Car displays and motorsport showcases
  • Interactive partner activations and fan experiences

It’s the perfect place to explore between track sessions.

Melbourne Walk

One of the highlights of the Fan Zone is the Melbourne Walk, the pathway where drivers and team personnel make their way into the paddock. This gives fans a rare opportunity to see their favourite F1 stars up close, take photos, and possibly secure autographs.

Last year (2025), Melbourne Walk operated on all four event days during the morning:

  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Sunday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Please note that exact timings may vary each year and are usually confirmed closer to the event.

Main stage & Live performances

Adjacent to the Fan Zone, the Main Stage hosts driver interviews, official fan sessions and major live music performances throughout the weekend. The concert programme adds a festival atmosphere to the Grand Prix, making it much more than just a motorsport event. Concerts will take place from Thursday to Sunday in the Lakeside Fan Zone, located inside the circuit near Turn 2. This area becomes one of the main entertainment hubs of the Australian Grand Prix weekend, offering live music and evening performances for fans after the on-track action.
